Make my Monday #247

Theme: Use a die cut / punch

I once again used the Stampin up products to create my card. I do love these dandelion images. I stamped them on a beautiful piece of designer paper and used a die cut to cut out. I then used another die cut for the green behind it. I love the holes in the die. I added this to a piece of designer paper and add a ribbon bow. I didn't want to add a sentiment at this time as I thought it could go for any occasion, birthday, get well......

Hello 

We have a new challenge over at

Alphabet challenge

Theme: X for XOXO (hugs and kisses)

I took Simon Says stamps. I found a soft pink print background and so I stamped little sentiment words on it. I used a heart die and cut out the center. I added a darker pink behind the whole strip just to give more color. I took a soft pink background and with versa mark stamped the XOXO all over it, I then added the strip across the center and I raised the heart that was cut out of the center. I added a few diamond drills.

As you like it - monochrome or colorful (for this card I went with monochrome as I thought it spoke louder for what I was going for. I can look through my stash and inks and come up with a good palette of like colors and set out to create.)

Theme: Add a sentiment

I used a stamp from my friend. It's a Stampin up image. I colored with copics. I backed to a scrap and added to a blue/green card base. it looks dark in the photo.. I die cut the banner and added the sentiment. I added a few diamond drills. I went over the flowers with a Spectrum Noir glitter brush.

I have a hard time making Mothers day cards since my mom has passed but I have other friends to whom a card can go to.. I used Stampin up products to create this card. I felt that the sentiment went well for a mothers day card.

We have a new challenge over at

Theme: Men's clothing

So thought hard on what to use then remembered I had accessories from the crazy bird collection from Tim Holtz.. So dug through scraps and stamped and die cut out.. Then how do I display these pieces and then remembered I had this die so I cut it out and added to a black scrap. I laid out the pieces. I used foam tape for the sentiment and hats. Rest are flat to card base. I like the way it came out..

Hello 

We have a new challenge over at 

Aud Sentiments #323

Theme: Glitter and bling or St. P. Green

So for my card I made a calendar page. I do this every year as a group of 12 friends (some I know and some I don't) we each pick a month and make 12 of that month and then my friend gathers everyone's pages and then she uses my binding machine and puts the year together. So this is my page. 

I water colored the background and then took a Simon says over all stamp and lightly stamped it. I watercolored green a couple papers and when dried I used a heart die from Stampin up and cut enough for the 12 pages. I have a die from Tech. Tues which is wholes.. and I just cut pieces to give interest. I took a button and twine and stamped the sentiment and used TT banner die. I used left over from the heart paper and cut stems. Then it's a matter of putting pieces together. This is the outcome. I like it.

Hello and hope March is off to a good start for you

Do Al (l) Creative #99

Theme: Anything goes / waterfall card

I love this card and surprised I have not made one sooner. It's rather quite easy if you watch a You Tube 5 times. LOL.. Plus have a friends help.. All products are from Stampin up.. There are three images to show the card in action. If you make this card the long strip which is what you pull for the waterfall to work - cut it at 9 inches vs. 8-5/8.. it's a little too short I thought.
